The images are testimony to his father and of the memory of him, during the process of forgetting. Rather than following a linear narrative, the project is made of interchangeable ‘chapters’: vernacular pictures from Duncan's childhood and adulthood, photographs of some of his objects collected by the photographer coincide with these images of his life. The act of doing this creates a story of a life, from the birth of Daniel's father, through to his death.
