'The Devil Wont Take Me That Way ' is a collection that is documenting a man called David who suffers from the mental illness schizophrenia.
David’s illness is something that he has unknowingly put to his creative advantage throughout his life. Surrounded by a hoard of music vinyl’s, instruments and memorabilia as well as mounds of paintings and poems he has created over the years.
David lives alone in his decrepit surroundings, other than his accumulation of items he has enclosed himself with; nothing has changed in the house since his mother died over 30 years ago. David leads a life where each day is repeating itself. This collection,is looking to discover the artist behind this illness, or perhaps the illness behind the artist.
